Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will take on the day-to-day responsibilities of managing our social media accounts. You will be an integral part of our marketing team, ensuring that our social media presence remains consistent, engaging, and aligned with our brand’s mission. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within our company as you help us expand our reach across multiple social media platforms.

responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Review and quality-check content in our production pipeline to ensure it meets Uplevel Entrepreneur’s high standards before publication.
  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain a consistent and high-quality content calendar across all social media platforms. This includes scheduling posts, responding to comments, and ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Content Identification: Identify high-performing pieces of social media content from our extensive catalog of financial literacy materials and recommend them for re-use or re-purposing.
  • ​Community Engagement: Actively engage with our followers on all platforms, fostering a sense of community and guiding interested individuals toward our coaching services.
  • ​Performance Analysis: Monitor social media analytics to track the success of posts and identify trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize future content.

qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, with excellent writing skills capable of crafting compelling social media copy that resonates with our target audience.
  • Process-Oriented: Ability to learn and implement Uplevel Entrepreneur’s processes and systems, ensuring smooth operations within the social media domain.
  • Time Zone & Availability: Must be able to operate on Eastern Standard Time (EST) and have a reliable internet connection to ensure consistent communication and task completion.
  • ​Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies within the current production process and propose solutions to refine and streamline those processes.
  • ​Financial Literacy: Understanding or willingness to learn basic financial literacy principles to communicate with authority on topics relevant to our content.
  • ​Content Identification: Skilled at identifying content that will perform well across various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) and creating production requests for such content.

Preferred Experience:

  • Social Media Management: Prior experience in social media management or digital content management is a significant plus.
  • Copywriting: Experience in copywriting, particularly for social media, is highly desirable.
  • Digital Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, particularly for social media platforms.
  • ​Project Management: Familiarity with project management systems like Asana, as well as social media tracking/scheduling software (Agorapulse, HubSpot, Hootsuite, etc.), and automation tools (ManyChat, Zapier, Make.com) is a plus.
